Folake and Aloy’s Intimate Wedding at VV Showroom

Some wedding days prove that a smaller guest count can make every decision feel more personal. Folake and Aloy welcomed about 50 guests to VV Showroom in Indianapolis for a celebration that felt generous, lively, and unmistakably theirs.

LoveLight Events shaped the day with layered florals, a thoughtful welcome, and an easy flow from cocktail hour into dinner. We were honored to be part of Folake and Aloy’s special day, providing the furniture and room pieces that helped the space feel warm, polished, and ready for their people.

A room that felt personal, not crowded

VV Showroom’s exposed brick, tall windows, and open floor give an intimate wedding a strong starting point. Here, the layout gave guests room to move while keeping the day connected: a welcoming entry, a cocktail-hour moment, guest tables that felt close enough for conversation, and a head table that had its own presence.

A head table with one clear focal point

One focal point was enough. The Nasrina Double Peacock Chair gave Folake and Aloy’s head table a strong center without making the rest of the room compete. Its dark woven back held its own against the brick, creating a natural place for the couple, their cake, and the floral work to gather.

Arrival, then cocktail hour

Before dinner, Folake and Aloy’s welcome sign and two Tangerine Twist Chairs gave guests a bright, personal first moment. From there, a simple cocktail-hour detail made the transition into the celebration feel intentional rather than rushed.

The in-house White Bar at VV Showroom created a clean service point that fit the room’s palette without competing with the floral design.

The people who built the room

The finished room is only half the story. Before guests arrived, the LoveLight Events team worked through the floral placement, place settings, and final details that made the evening feel so considered. These quiet setup moments are a reminder that a room does not simply come together on its own.
